Hi! I’m Karen.
Raised as an airforce brat, I’m hopelessly attached to my backpack, which means travel comes naturally to me. Documenting my adventures in amazing destinations led to my interest in photography and writing. My photography has been influenced by photographers as diverse as Freeman Patterson, Jeffrey Wu, Sharon Tenenbaum, Valda Bailey and Doug Chinnery and inspired by the people I’ve met and places I’ve visited on my travels as well as by the beautiful landscapes found near my home on the Sunshine Coast of BC, Canada.
